The works in the series “Relationship” address multimodal networks that play an elementary role in overcoming social and national borders as well as religious and cultural barriers. This work addresses the tension between social, state and religious constraints on the one hand and the human striving for freedom on the other.

This series of works is based on the medium of photography. In digital post-photographic processes, the photographic works are further processed digitally. Modern digital image practices open doors for artistic approaches that would have been unthinkable some time ago. What is important in the end is the overall artistic result. The basic photography is existential for the working method, but can only be recognized in fragments after the post-photographic process.
